Under the Nutmeg Tree

Playtime under the Nutmeg Tree

During Easter Break, Andrew spent a lot of time with me at The Office.

One of his favourite past times is playing under the nutmeg tree. Armed with a backpack full of wild animals and a spade for digging tremendous craters, his time was well spent!

On a couple of days, friends came over to join him. Below (left to right): Kian, Raina, Andrew (holding Raina's Hip Hop Harry) and Nia.

Hip Hop Harry is guarding his nest of eggs, which are actually nutmeg fruit halves, after the nutmeg was harvested.

International Affairs

Although Dominica has a tiny population of 70,000, we still have the capacity to become embroiled in global affairs. The People's Republic of China has given grants to Dominica to build a World Class Sports Stadium on the grounds in Windsor Park. The Stadium will seat 10,000 spectators and have all the mod-cons necessary to host International Cricket Matches.

Future Stadium
Everything is expected to run smoothly and the project will be completed in two years. That is, as long as the Taiwanese Flag is no longer spotted flying atop Roseau rooftops :-|
